Only the bank—the entity that owns the ATM—can and MUST protect it by installing a specialised anti-virus.
Imagine that you’ve received an SMS message saying ‘Your bank card is blocked. To receive detailed information, contact ***.’ After receiving such an SMS message, you should immediately call your bank to inform them about the incident. Perhaps, you’ll still have time to recover the stolen funds or prevent a future theft.
Contact the bank via the phone number specified on the reverse side of the bank card!
